Talk title: Water-rock reactions as an archive of Earth’s surface conditions
Almost every rock found at the surface is modified due to the reaction with liquid water abundantly present on Earth. In hydrothermal environments, this modification is driven by the reactivity of the Earth’s rocky shell (and other planets/bodies) in presence of near-surface fluids.
